Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of yourself and your team members.
• Adhere to the production schedule by being at your assigned machine(s) at the start of your shift.
• Achieve daily production goals for rubber/phenolic goods.
• Maintain a low scrap rate during production.
• Maintain workplace organization in accordance with 5S standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience:
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings (preferred).
• Skills:
• Ability to perform simple math calculations.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work up to 6 days per week if required.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts and swing shifts.
• Personal Attributes:
• Strong commitment to safety
• Reliability and punctuality to meet production schedules.
• Attention to detail to maintain quality and minimize scrap.
• Ability to stay organized and maintain a clean workspace.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• The employee is frequently required to stand for an extended period of time.
• Walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
