Accounting Internship

What You'll Do

As an Accounting Intern, you will support our finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance:

• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial statement preparation
• Support budget vs. actual analysis and variance reporting
• Help prepare management reports and financial dashboards

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Process client invoices and manage billing cycles
• Assist with vendor payment processing and expense management
• Support collections activities and client account reconciliation

Compliance & Audit Support

• Assist with tax preparation and regulatory compliance
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Help maintain documentation and internal controls

Financial Operations

• Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
• Assist with cash flow management and bank reconciliations
• Help with project cost tracking and profitability analysis

What's Required

We're looking for candidates who:

Education & Background

• Are pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Demonstrate integrity and ethical standards
• Show interest in corporate finance and accounting practices

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements
• Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems
• Coursework in intermediate accounting, taxation, or auditing
• Previous internship or work experience in accounting or finance
• Interest in pursuing CPA certification
