FIELD SERVICE TECH OPENING IN THE CHICAGO AREA! WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FIELD SERVICE TECH WHO HAS EXPERIENCE WITH ESPRESSO AND COFFEE MACHINES! THIS IS A TRAVEL POSITION AS WELL. WILL BE GIVEN COMPANY CAR AND GAS CARD.

Coffee Equipment Technician


Position Overview:
Seeking a dependable Coffee Equipment Technician with a positive attitude and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. This role is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial coffee and espresso equipment at customer locations, while providing excellent customer service. Some warehouse support, equipment preparation, and occasional on-call or overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial espresso machines, coffee brewers, grinders, and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using hand tools, meters, diagrams, and schematics.
• Complete work orders, inventory, and service documentation accurately.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory.
• Prepare equipment for installation and assist with warehouse operations as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and provide professional customer service.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and occasional overnight travel when required.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of espresso, coffee equipment, or similar field service repair experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience reading wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Previous field service experience required; barista experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. regularly and up to 75-100 lbs. occasionally.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday (typically 7:30 AM-4:30 PM), with occasional on-call weekends.
