Job Title: Level 4 RN - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: - Minimum of 2 years in Cath Lab License: - New York RN License Certifications: - BLS (AHA) - ACLS (AHA) - Moderate sedation trained Must-Have: - Experience with TAVR, Microclip, and Watchmen - Proficiency in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever - Mechanical Circulatory Support Experience with ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD - Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, and ASA - Critical care or Cardiac experience Description: The Cath Lab is an inpatient and outpatient procedural lab focusing on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients. The lab cares for adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of conditions. It has a comprehensive program with pre and post-procedural care holding areas. The practice model features collaboration among RN staff and CVTs, emphasizing excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction. Candidates must possess specific skills and certifications to qualify for this role. Experience in device and ablation procedures and equipment is a plus. Cardiovascular certification or RCES is preferred. EP lab experience is also desirable.
