Position: Speech TherapistPay Range: $50.00 - $55.00/HR DOELocation: Aurora Valley Care, 414 S. University Rd, Spokane, WA 99206Who we are:Aurora Valley Care is part of the Caldera Care family. When a loved one comes to our skilled nursing facility, they will be well cared for, heard, and know that they matter. We strongly believe that the key is through our incredible staff!Speech Therapist (SLP) Duties and Responsibilities:Evaluate and diagnose any speech, language, communication, and/or swallowing disorders.Build a program to treat any disorders that the patient has been diagnosed with.Provide training and educate the patient and their loved ones on the programs.Required to work professionally with many disciplines to ensure proper treatment for the patient.Work with patients to improve their ability to read and write correctly.Show patients how to pronounce and improve their voice and communicationSpeech Therapist (SLP) Qualifications and Skills:Must have valid Washington SLP license that is in good standingPrevious experience in a skilled nursing facility preferredPay Transparency Statement Compensation for roles at Aurora Valley Care varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by state and local law, Aurora Valley Care provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Aurora Valley Care expects to pay for roles they may be hired in Washington, as stated below:Pay Range: $50.00 - $55.00/HR DOE
