COTA - Travel Contract

We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a great facility. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you’ll help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Active COTA license in Missouri or compact licensure eligible. Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy Assistant experience. (Required) Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility, Long Term Care, or Rehab settings. (Required) Familiarity with ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, and documentation of treatment minutes per regulatory requirements. Ability to work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and communicate patient progress effectively. BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC. (May be required) Ability to document in electronic medical records and maintain accurate patient records. Willingness to participate in facility meetings, trainings, and in-services as required. Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: 8 hour days; 35 GWW. Weekend Requirement: None. License Requirement: Compact licensure accepted. Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed. Location Highlights Discover Mound City, MO and surrounding attractions within reasonable drives.
