Veterinary Technician – Full-Time | $500 Sign-On Bonus Animal Care Clinic of Homer – Homer Glen, IL Animal Care Clinic of Homer is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Technician to join our close-knit, supportive team. Why You’ll Love It Here Well‑Rounded Medicine: Wellness, diagnostics, surgery, and laser therapy Modern Equipment: Digital full body & dental radiographs, in‑house diagnostics Supportive Team: Collaborative, family‑like culture that values growth Positive Environment: Team building, CE opportunities, and open communication Make an Impact: Build relationships with clients and truly make a difference What You’ll Do Assist with exams, patient care, and client communication Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and lab work Support surgery (prep, induction, and anesthesia monitoring) Take radiographs (including dental) Administer medications and vaccines Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients What We’re Looking For 2+ years of veterinary experience or CVT (LVT/RVT) Strong technical skills and attention to detail Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast‑paced environment Positive, team‑oriented mindset Passion for patient care and continued growth Schedule Full‑Time Monday–Friday: 8am–6pm Rotating Saturdays: 8am–1pm What We Offer $500 sign‑on bonus (paid after 90 days) Pay Range: $23–$28/hour, based on experience and credentials.
