Position Summary

We are looking for a talented Interventional Radiologist to become part of our multidisciplinary team at the Interventional Radiology Center in Clearwater, FL. In this position, you will be responsible for interpreting diagnostic imaging and executing a comprehensive range of image-guided interventional procedures that support our extensive urologic services. This role presents an exciting opportunity to significantly contribute to a growing urology service line while collaborating closely with urologists, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals in a patient-focused setting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze various imaging studies, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine related to urologic and related conditions.

• Conduct interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular access, embolization, nephrostomy tube placements, and other minimally invasive, image-guided therapies.

• Engage with referring physicians to suggest suitable imaging strategies and procedural plans.

• Participate in clinical decision-making, educate patients, and communicate imaging findings clearly.

• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, radiation safety, and imaging protocols.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from a recognized medical institution.

• Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology, with fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.

• Possession of an active Florida medical license or eligibility for licensure in the state.

• Strong technical skills in diagnostic imaging and image-guided procedures.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
