About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Director for U.S. Public Affairs, who will be the senior leader in public policy, government affairs, and strategic external engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading an integrated U.S. public affairs strategy that is in line with the company's priorities and long-term growth goals. This role involves serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, anticipating and addressing emerging policy risks and opportunities, and ensuring that policy considerations are integrated into business decision-making. The Senior Director will also lead the U.S. public affairs team, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and represent the organization in various external forums. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 12 years of experience in U.S. public affairs, healthcare policy, or a related area, with a deep understanding of the U.S. healthcare system and legislative processes. The role requires the ability to translate complex policy developments into business implications, experience in engaging with government and healthcare stakeholders, and a proven track record in developing high-impact policy or advocacy strategies. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree and experience in specialty medicines or complex therapeutic areas.
