Business Analyst

Job Description

The Business Analyst partners with business stakeholders and technology teams to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into technology-enabled solutions. This role gathers requirements, designs future-state processes, and supports business transformation initiatives.

Essential Functions

• Analyze business processes, systems, and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
• Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders.
• Develop process maps, user stories, functional specifications, and business cases.
• Partner with IT, project managers, developers, and business leaders to deliver solutions.
• Support solution design, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation.
• Analyze business data and KPIs to support decision-making.
• Prepare executive presentations and project documentation.
• Identify project risks, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Drive continuous process improvement and change management.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–7+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, process improvement, or related field.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with requirements gathering and documentation.
• Experience working in Agile project environments preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio or similar tools.

• Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools
• Digital transformation experience
• CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications (preferred)

Benefits and Compensation

The pay range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $85,000 and $110,000. The range is an estimate based on potential employee qualification operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
