Join to apply for the Merchandising Sales Associate role at Tractor Supply Company Overall Job Summary The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute "start to finish" tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed. Communicate proactively with the District FAST Supervisor about work progress and issues. Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely. Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store-specific measurements. Complete cycle counts and the Tractor Way top cap process. Hang store signage and assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs. Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value. Provide peak coverage during high-volume times as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Experience in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18 or older with a valid driver’s license. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Preferred Skills and Abilities Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding fields. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills. Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution. Self-directed with minimal supervision. Working Conditions Mostly indoor with moderate noise; outdoor work on hard surfaces. Shifts generally 4-8 hours; travel between stores using personal vehicle. Adherence to safety guidelines and promotion of a safe work environment. Physical Requirements Travel as needed; ability to push/pull up to 2000 lbs with equipment. Lift or reach merchandise overhead; frequently stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders. Operate store equipment; handle merchandise up to 50 lbs. Effective communication skills; ability to handle contact with birds/poultry. Complete required training successfully.
