About Our Client

Our client is a leading public works general contractor with a strong presence across NYC, delivering large‑scale public, commercial, and residential projects. With a proven track record and steady pipeline.

Job Description

Prepare detailed estimates and takeoffs for NYC public sector projects , including ground‑up construction.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents across agencies like SCA, DDC, EDC, NYCHA, and corrections .
Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor bids.
Develop pricing strategies and support competitive bid submissions.
Collaborate with preconstruction and project teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator should have:

7-15 years of estimating experience on NYC public works projects .
Proven involvement with agency work including SCA, DDC, EDC, NYCHA, or jails .
Background with reputable GCs/CMs strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of large‑scale ground‑up construction .
Detail‑oriented, analytical, and confident working in fast‑paced bid environments.
