Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
• Assess and manage patient pain, airway, hemodynamic stability, and level of consciousness in the PACU setting
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe patient transitions
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
• Fulfill expected weekend call shift obligations, with approximately 3 weekend call shifts per month

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum of 1 year of PACU nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Ability to commit to a 13-week travel contract beginning in October 2026

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PACU or perioperative setting
• Familiarity with post-anesthesia scoring systems and recovery protocols
• Experience managing a diverse surgical patient population across multiple service lines
