Event Manager Host (Part-time)

Lectures on Tap team

We are looking for enthusiastic and organized Event Manager Hosts to help create engaging and memorable lecture nights for Lectures on Tap.

The Event Manager Host is responsible for overseeing the smooth execution of events while also serving as the public face or presenter during the event. This role combines event management skills with hosting duties to ensure that both the logistical and audience-facing aspects of the event are handled effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

• Hosting : Welcoming attendees, introducing the speaker of the night, and engaging with the audience to set the tone for the event.
• Coordinating AV Logistics : Ensuring all technical setups (e.g., projectors, microphones) are functional and thinking on your feet to address any issues that may arise during the event.
• Team Collaboration : Working with the other hosts or bar staff to manage tasks like ticket check in, audience seating, and speaker support.
• Maintaining Atmosphere : Creating a fun, thoughtful, and seamless experience and atmosphere for the ultimate Lectures on Tap experience.

Each lecture night will have (3) Event Manager Hosts on duty who will share the event responsibilities.
