The City and Borough of Sitka is seeking a part-time crossing guard to help pedestrians safely navigate downtown sidewalks during cruise ship visitation days. The role involves guiding traffic, signaling crossings, and enforcing safety rules. Must be 18+, obtain Flagging Level 1 Certification within 14 days of hire, and pass a certification exam funded by the employer.
