divh2Accounting Specialist/h2pCarpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a 1st shift Accounting Specialist at our Riverside California manufacturing plant. This position is responsible for setting up and maintaining customer database and production materials, general accounting clerical functions and backup for Accounts Payable./ppCarpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operations excellence. As the Accounting Specialist, you will be expected to communicate with customers and vendors and handle a large amount of data when updating catalog pricing. This position works in a normal office environment./ppAdditional responsibilities as Accounting Specialist will include:/pulliSet up and maintain customer database./liliSet up and maintain production materials./liliAssist customer service with pricing and material questions./liliMaintain all Riverside national account catalogs./liliWork with sales to implement all non-national price changes./liliBackup for Accounts Payable./liliPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned./li/ulpSkills and Requirements/pulliThree years of prior clerical or office experience and knowledge in operating a computer with general office software, at a minimum./liliAt least three years of prior clerical experience is required to perform the job. On the job training is provided.
