Job Title Occupational Therapist Location Hilo, HI | Skilled Nursing Facility Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 13-Week Assignment Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans within a skilled nursing facility setting
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional independence in daily living activities
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Hawaii or eligibility to obtain one
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar post-acute care environment
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
- Prior travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with MDS and skilled nursing facility regulatory requirements
- Experience with a variety of patient populations including geriatric care
