Together, we are working towards our vision of creating a healthy, thriving Maricopa County for all.We Require:Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational programMust possess a valid unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse practitioner issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing and be in good standingWe Also Value:Clinical experience with emphasis on chronic care or treatment of communicable diseasesBilingual skills in English and SpanishJob Contributions:Obtain and document patient health histories, perform patient examinations, assess patient needs, establish working diagnoses, and determine and perform appropriate medical procedures based on clinical findings and diagnosisProvides patient care services during regular clinic hours, assigned weekend and evening coverage, including travel to clinic and outreach sites throughout Maricopa County to deliver healthcare services in community-based settingsDocument subjective and objective findings in a complete and organized manner. Prepare client assessments and client plans in a clear, logical mannerPrescribe and dispense medication in accordance with state and federal regulationsProvide basic health education and counselingCoordinate medical resources to meet patient needsOrder appropriate imaging and laboratory tests as indicated.
