About the Position

Opportunity:

IR TECH

Job Details:

• Previous Interventional Radiology experience required (scrub and circulate)
• Previous neurointerventional Radiology experience required (scrub and circulate)
• Vascular OR experience preferred
• Cath Lab experience preferred
• VI Registered preferred
• Moderate sedation experience required
• Required certification: BLS
• Work in Interventional Radiology unit on Floor K2 in K Tower Building
• Unit includes 2 single plane (GE) rooms and 2 biplane (Philips) rooms, plus one Invasive CT scanner
• EMR system: Cerner (Radnet)
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Day shift: 2 techs per room, 1 nurse per room
• Night shift: 1 tech and 1 RN onsite
• Typical procedures include dialysis work (Permcaths, fistulagrams), neph tubes, arteriograms/embolizations, Y-90, G tubes, TIPS, Inari cases, cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipelines, mechanical thrombectomies, and vertebroplasties
• Float area: VOR
• Every 7th weekend required
• One night secondary on-call during the week required
• Hospital-provided scrubs
