About You We believe veterinary medicine is truly a team sport , and we’re seeking a candidate who shares that mindset. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential in a fast-paced clinical environment, alongside maintaining a high standard of patient care. We are looking for a Veterinary Technician who is confident with restraint, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and anesthesia , with at least one year of experience in a busy hospital focused on nursing care. Experience with CPR, EzyVet, and SmartFlow is a plus, but not required. Anticipated Schedule This is a part-time position. Friday: 2pm-12am or 4pm-2:30am Compensation Starting at $22.50-$30.00/hour dependent upon experience + shift differential. Associates degree in Veterinary Technology is a plus. CVT license is a plus. Knowledge with Anesthesia and monitoring. Knowledge of the procedures used for scheduling patients, receiving, treating, ordering medical supplies, and requesting laboratory tests. Knowledge of the use, care, and storage of veterinary instruments, materials, and equipment. Knowledge of sterilization techniques to sterilize various instruments and materials. Knowledge of the instruments, materials, and standardized procedures used in the full variety of treatments to make preparations and provide “tableside” assistance. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing client and personal services. This includes client needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of client satisfaction. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
