Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

Overview Join to apply for the Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) role at 7-Eleven . Responsibilities Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching alongside the Store Leader for all store employees. Assist in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs. Ensure accurate cash handling and support of fuel transactions; promote the loyalty program. Maintain a clean, safe store environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures; ensure products are in-stock and the store is presentable. Support and develop employees, focusing on retention, identifying qualified applicants, and promoting leadership from within where possible. Qualifications Ability to provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching in collaboration with the Store Leader. Demonstrated strength in retention by developing leaders and empowering employees. Ability to assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs. Competency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting the loyalty program. Commitment to a clean, safe environment and compliance with health and sanitation procedures; in-stock products. Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills. Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel preferred). High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience. Valid Driver’s License from the state of residence; maintain automotive liability insurance during employment. Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
