Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM. Every other weekend and holidays will be scheduled as needed.

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in high acuity care for laboring patients and the ability to manage critical situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Administer care to laboring patients, monitor maternal and fetal health
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and perform vaginal deliveries as needed
• Manage IV therapy, administer medications, and monitor patient vital signs
• Utilize EPIC charting system for patient documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current RN license in the state of practice
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP required; AWHONN Intermediate preferred
• Experience with EPIC charting system
• Charge experience highly regarded

Location

Please note that this position may require floating to Medical Assessment Units (MAU), Mother-Baby Units (MBU), and Observation Units (OBSC).
