Schedule / Job Type

Contract (16 Weeks) | Days | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a main surgical suite with 16 operating rooms operating 24/7
• Deliver 1:1 patient care primarily for adult surgical patients across a broad range of specialties
• Support and assist with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams across specialties including ENT, Urology, OBGYN, Orthopedic, Spine, Neuro, Plastics, Vascular, Chest, and General Surgery
• Fulfill one holiday requirement per contract term

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Experience working primarily with adult patient populations
• Demonstrated robotic surgical experience (required)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records (required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with a high-volume, multi-specialty surgical environment
