Regional Procurement Manager - PackagingLocation: Panama Work model: Hybrid / Full time Contract type / duration: Permanent Be a force for good and feel trusted to make decisions that matter As a Regional Procurement Manager at Nestlé Global Procurement, your mission is to manage commercial and sourcing activities for the Plastic Resins, Films & Paper board categories used by Nestlé worldwide. We operate on a truly global scale, bringing together over 40 nationalities across three dynamic hubs in Switzerland, Panama, and Malaysia. You will make a difference by collaborating closely with category leaders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams across Nestlé businesses. How you'll make an impact as a Regional Procurement Manager Perform supplier market/category/supply risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify improvement opportunities. Negotiate contracts ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the strategy. Contribute to the Sustainability Commitments of the Group. Create and execute the sourcing strategies for the Category in scope whilst interacting with relevant Business Partners and Stakeholders. Ensure compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies, and standards. Assure synergies between various Nestle sites, directing all potential efforts to obtain best opportunities for cost optimization and fulfill company targets.What will make you successful University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain and/or Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing, supplier management and strategic procurement for different spend categories in packaging, ideally gained in plastic resins. Knowledge on paperboard will be a plus Proven track record in working in different teams in complex organizations and developing key talents and people. Experience in leading sustainability projects within the Procurement function (e.g. Carbon reduction, virgin plastic reduction, design for recycling etc.). A strong understanding of different sustainable technologies (advanced recycling, mechanical recycling, bio based etc.) within the plastics industry is a must. Demonstrated success in risk management, responsible sourcing, and supplier relation management. Able to manage complex sourcing project including multi-cultural aspects. Excellent communication and negotiation skills - with the ability to influence and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across a complex organization. Understanding of National and International Procurement Regulations.
