Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Physical Therapist Location: Texas Schedule / Job Type: Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday-Friday, Days | 40 hours per week Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines Design functional treatment programs focused on progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay and facilitating effective return to community activities Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients while ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations Adhere to discipline-specific state practice acts and regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and uphold professional codes of conduct Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Texas Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy Proficiency in clinical documentation, goal writing, and compliance with state and federal guidelines Demonstrated commitment to patient and employee safety standards Preferred Experience / Skills Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students in a clinical setting Active involvement in continuing education and professional development activities Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies in a clinical environment Why Join Us Join a team-oriented outpatient orthopedic setting with an immediate start and consistent full-time schedule Work in an environment that prioritizes patient safety, professional growth, and high-quality care delivery Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID #765536.
