Job Description
Job DescriptionExperience : Experience preferred, employer will train.
Education: High School Diploma/GED Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) to be able to communicate with customers
Requirements : Must be able to pass a background check, and must be able to pass random drug tests. Must be able to multi-task.
- Exemplify the Department values, both on and off duty.
- Sort mail for internal and external delivery or pickup; deliver and collect mail to and from various areas within the Department and outside agencies.
- Operate vans and delivery trucks; determine if vehicle is in good working condition; maintain vehicle in clean and fueled condition.
- Pick up and deliver mail, supplies, materials, furniture, and equipment; make a number of special deliveries and pickups.
- Operate appropriate equipment including two-wheeled hand truck, hydraulic lift gates, platforms, forklifts and office machines.
- Maintain and clean the storeroom.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Supply Clerk for Ambulance Service
- Maintain Inventory and deliver and pick up supplies.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 160 lbs.
- Additional misc. duties.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Drivers License: Class C Standard Drivers License
- Shift: 2:00 p.m. to 10 p.m.
