Position Description: About the RoleGramazon is seeking a Cycle Count Administrator to perform routine cycle counts and independently verify cannabis and non-cannabis inventory. This role compares physical counts with Distru and other internal systems, Dutchie where applicable, and METRC for regulated cannabis. The Administrator investigates differences, coordinates recounts, documents findings, and routes corrections through approved processes.The goal is accurate inventory records supported by clear evidence. A count is complete when the physical result is verified, any difference is documented, the appropriate team is involved, and the issue is routed for resolution.Core AccountabilitiesSafety: Perform counts safely across warehouse, processing, retail, cultivation, and other inventory locations using approved access and material-handling practices.Quality: Produce accurate physical counts and investigate differences using documented evidence.Delivery: Complete scheduled counts on time and follow up promptly on recounts and unresolved differences.Cost: Identify shrink, loss, high-value differences, and recurring inventory issues that may create avoidable costs.Compliance: Compare regulated cannabis inventory with METRC and internal records, maintain count documentation, and promptly escalate potential compliance concerns.Collaboration: Communicate findings clearly and work with inventory owners while maintaining independent count results.Essential ResponsibilitiesComplete daily, weekly, monthly, special, and audit cycle counts according to the approved schedule.Prepare count lists by location, SKU, package, category, value, risk, or other approved criteria.Perform blind counts when required, without relying on expected system quantities.Coordinate recounts for inventory outside approved tolerances and follow up on missed or delayed counts.Support wall-to-wall, year-end, regulatory, and internal-audit counts.Compare physical inventory with Distru, internal inventory systems, Dutchie or POS records where applicable, and METRC.Investigate shortages, overages, incorrect locations, duplicate records, unit-of-measure errors, unposted movements, damage, waste, and other differences.Review receiving, transfer, production, sales, adjustment, waste, and movement records during investigations.Complete recounts and location searches before recommending inventory adjustments.Verify cannabis package identifiers, product descriptions, quantities, weights, units, locations, and status.Promptly escalate significant differences or potential traceability and compliance concerns.Maintain organized count, recount, investigation, and authorized-correction records for audit review.Track inventory accuracy, recurring differences, root causes, and unresolved issues.Share factual trends with responsible leaders to help improve inventory processes.Performance ExpectationsPerformance will be evaluated based on safe work practices, count accuracy, timely completion, documentation, compliance, and communication. Operational teams are responsible for inventory movement and transactions. The Cycle Count Administrator is responsible for accurately reporting physical counts and documenting the evidence behind any differences.The Administrator may perform counts, recounts, location searches, and transaction reviews under approved procedures. They may document and recommend corrections but may not approve material inventory adjustments beyond established authority limits. Significant, unexplained, recurring, high-value, loss-related, or compliance-sensitive differences must be escalated promptly. Count results and system records must never be changed solely to match an expected quantity.QualificationsRequiredMust be at least 21 years old and eligible to work in Michigan’s regulated cannabis industry.High school diploma or equivalent.Experience in cycle counting, inventory control, warehouse inventory, retail inventory, or a comparable role; 1–3 years preferred.Strong math skills and the ability to review transactions and reconcile records.Comfort using spreadsheets, scanners, and inventory systems.Strong attention to detail, organization, documentation, communication, and follow-through.Ability to report physical count results objectively.PreferredCannabis inventory control and METRC experience.Experience with Distru, Dutchie, WMS or ERP systems, perpetual inventory, or barcode scanning.Experience in manufacturing, distribution, automotive parts, food, pharmaceutical, or another inventory-controlled environment.Experience investigating inventory differences, analyzing shrink, tracking accuracy, or supporting audits.Apply TodayIf you are detail-oriented and committed to accurate inventory records, we invite you to apply for the Cycle Count Administrator position with Gramazon.#Retail26 Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift).Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements throughout the shift.Maintain manual dexterity to package, label, sort, and inspect cannabis products.Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and twist frequently.Work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, hairnets, beard covers (if applicable), safety glasses, and other protective gear.Maintain visual acuity to inspect products, read labels, and identify quality concerns.Work in varying environmental conditions, including temperature-controlled production areas.Safely operate production equipment and follow all safety procedures.Ability to remain focused and meet production quotas while adhering to compliance and quality standards.Regular and reliable attendance with the ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed. $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly
