Quality Inspector

The OpportunityPrecious Plate is hiring a Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for visual inspections and disposition of finished goods in accordance with customer requirements and ISO regulations. This is a full-time position, working 2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday, reporting to the Quality Manager. There are two shifts available for this position: 1st Shift working 6am-2pm, Monday-Friday OR 2nd Shift working 2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday Essential Duties and Responsibilities Final product release perform final inspection of strip stock products from the plating line Obey all safety rules and procedures Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Minimum high school graduate or equivalent Ability to read, write and understand verbal and written instructions Ability to identify and communicate quality problems to supervisor Math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Ability to work independently and perform cooperatively with others Manual dexterity needed to perform some job functions Computer knowledge Positive interpersonal skills, can lead by example and has the ability and willingness to make decisions Ability to work with minimal supervision Must exhibit consistently proper attendance Must be able to lift 35lbs Working Conditions Environment may be high temperatures depending on ambient outside temperature Safety glasses, steel or composite toe boots, and hearing protection required Other PPE may be required depending on responsibilities Could be exposed to background noise, odors, or dust Who We Are Since 1973, Precious Plate has provided exceptional, selective electroplating services by continually adapting and improving electroplating equipment and processes to the specific needs of a wide variety of manufacturers.
