We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team in Canal Winchester, Ohio. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support and assistance to individuals in their homes, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life. Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, medication management, and light housekeeping
• Support clients with mobility issues, including transferring, ambulating, and using assistive devices
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, recognizing and respecting their unique needs and preferences
• Collaborate with other team members, including nurses, therapists, and care managers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care and services provided
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 1+ year of experience in a healthcare or human services setting

• Ability to provide safe and efficient transfers and ambulation of clients

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
