From special orders to food safety standards, you'll play a key role in creating a department guests trust and return to again and again. As a Meat Clerk at Festival Foods, your responsibilities will include: Deliver helpful service: Provide exceptional guest service at the meat counter and on the sales floor, including fulfilling special orders and answering product questions. Maintain fresh, well-stocked displays by inspecting, rotating, and replenishing meat products and supplies. Honor commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences. Collaborate with the team: Perform other duties as assigned. To succeed as a Festival Foods Meat Clerk, you should have: Strong communication skills: Ability to effectively engage with guests, leaders, and retail sales associates. Utilize strong written and verbal skills to work with a crew in a fast-paced environment. Food safety: A willingness to learn food safety standards, proper equipment usage (like slicers), and inventory practices. Ability to multitask and stay customer service focused in a busy retail grocery environment. Safety mindset: An understanding of safety and food safety practices and a commitment to following them.
