Community Sales Manager (CSMT)

Job Description Summary We’re seeking Community Sales Managers (CSMs) to join our dynamic sales force. All new CSMs start as Community Sales Manager in Training (CSMT) to master the Taylor Morrison way, regardless of experience level. The program lasts 2 weeks to a full year, tailored to background and abilities. Job Details Participate in training to gain knowledge about Homes and communities Using finance as a sales tool Sales purchase agreements CRM as a prospecting tool Shadow experienced Community Sales Managers to observe best practices and gain practical sales insights. Complete assigned reading materials, online courses, and other activities to enhance sales skills. Learn product and feature details, articulate value propositions, and understand how offerings fulfill customer needs. Master sales techniques including prospecting, presenting solutions, handling objections, and closing deals. Practice effective communication, active listening, and negotiation to secure favorable outcomes for customers and the company. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, follow up on prospects, address inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely manner. Use CRM tools to track interactions and manage accounts. Participate in regular performance evaluations, set personal development goals, and demonstrate continuous improvement. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Active Real Estate license required (where applicable by state) Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer) High level of organizational and documentation skills Customer‑service oriented, with customer as the number one priority Flexible and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem‑solving skills FLSA Status Non‑Exempt – requires a time record and may be eligible for overtime pay. Essential Functions Report to the Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule Access, input, and retrieve information from a computer or electronic device Conduct face‑to‑face conversations with customers, co‑workers, and managers Sit or stand for long periods and move around work environment as needed Operate a motor vehicle if applicable Comply with company policies and procedures Physical Demands Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
