Outside Sales/Business Development Specialist

Responsibilities Develop and manage relationships with contractors, builders, developers, electricians, plumbers, handymen, property managers, and remodeling professionals. Generate new business opportunities within a 100-mile radius of our 100,000 sq. ft. Louisville showroom. Promote and sell flooring, cabinets, kitchen and bath products, lighting, and other interior building materials. Conduct prospecting activities, cold outreach, customer visits, and networking to build a strong sales pipeline. Schedule appointments, conduct product presentations, and handle customer objections effectively. Maintain ongoing relationships with existing customers to increase repeat business and referrals. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experience and project success. What We're Looking For Proven experience in outside sales, business development, or account management. Experience selling building materials, flooring, tile, cabinets, plumbing products, home improvement products, or related industries is highly preferred. Existing relationships with contractors, builders, developers, remodelers, or trade professionals in the Louisville market is a strong advantage. Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven mindset. Ability to work independently while managing a sales territory effectively. Strong communication and presentation skills.
