Conduct engaging training sessions for staff on topics such as anatomy, physiology, group fitness, and personal training techniques. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance assessments. Collaborate with management to identify training needs and develop strategies for improvement. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new methodologies in fitness training. Provide ongoing support and mentorship to staff members to enhance their skills in sales, health club operations, and client engagement. Assist in organizing workshops or seminars that promote professional development within the team.ExperienceProven experience in personal training or fitness coaching, with a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology. Background in program design for fitness-related activities is highly desirable. Familiarity with health club operations and fitness sales techniques. Experience in group fitness instruction or sports coaching is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. A passion for health, wellness, and continuous learning in the field of physical education.QualificationsEducation Level: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).CertificationsAmerican College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer, Health Fitness Specialist. American Council on Exercise (ACE) Personal Trainer Certification. The Cooper Institute Personal Trainer Certification. International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA) Personal Trainer Certification. National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES). National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association (NESTA) Personal Fitness Trainer Certification. National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT) Personal Trainer Certification. National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditional Specialist (CSCS).Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift 50 lbs. Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job the team member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
