Manufacturing Technician I (AM Swing Shift)Avecia: Milford, MA, Massachusetts, United States Temporary Full TimeAbout this opportunity: As a Manufacturing Technician you are part of a team responsible for the implementation of assigned production operations working within defined production schedules. This is a swing shift position which runs from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (1st week M,T and F - Sn / 2nd week W-Th). This role comes with a 5% shift differential.Key Responsibilities:Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Responsible for following GMP and safety cultures, procedures, and regulations.Identify and submit safety hazards and incidents.Complete GMP documentation in a compliant manner.May require coaching on GMP documentation execution.Responsible for assigned production activity and ensuring training is compliant prior to performing operations.Responsible for learning the oligonucleotide manufacturing process as well as GMP regulations.May require supervision and guidance.Responsible for performing all work within company and cGMP regulatory compliance.Maintaining a safe work environment and following all site safety procedures.Performs routine, generally highly structure work.Responsible for staying current with the prescribed training curriculum specified for the job title.Required Skills/Abilities:This is an entry-level position. Previous experience is not required. Science or manufacturing background is preferred. Minimum education requirements: high school diploma or equivalent, with college level chemistry degree or equivalent work experience. A biotechnology certificate or college degree is preferred. The annualized salary range for this role is $51,900.00 - $62,500.00.
