General Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic hospitality leader to oversee the daily operations of a select service hotel and ensure an exceptional guest experience at every touchpoint. In this role, you will guide departmental teams, support a positive workplace culture, and drive operational excellence, financial performance, and service quality. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, sound business judgment, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities Oversee all hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, breakfast, maintenance, and guest services. Set clear service standards and ensure consistent delivery of a high-quality guest experience. Lead, coach, and support department managers and team members to achieve performance goals. Work directly with hand-on ownership Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, forecasting, budgeting, and profitability. Review operational reports and use data to identify opportunities for improvement. Maintain compliance with company policies, brand standards, health and safety regulations, and local requirements. Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to protect guest satisfaction and brand reputation. Partner with sales and marketing teams to support occupancy, retention, and revenue growth initiatives. Recruit, train, and retain talented team members while fostering a respectful and collaborative work environment. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation standards are met. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel or hospitality management, with responsibility for operational and financial performance. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and build a culture of accountability and service excellence. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills. Experience managing budgets, interpreting financial reports, and supporting revenue goals.Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Knowledge of hotel operations, guest service best practices, and industry standards. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency with common hotel management systems and standard business software. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with branded or select-service hotel properties. Background in rooms division, food and beverage, or multi-department leadership. Familiarity with labor management, compliance practices, and property improvement planning.
