Operator I – 2nd Shift

Location: Temecula, CA

Duration: 12 Months

Pay Rate: $19.00–$19.25/hour

Shift: Multiple shifts

Position Summary

Responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, and moving materials using pallet jacks, carts, or other material handling equipment within the warehouse and between campus buildings. Packs and labels products for processing, generates and applies labels with correct part numbers, lot/batch numbers, and quantities, and utilizes hand tools to open containers. Maintains a clean and safe work environment and assists in coordinating product flow through the sterilization process. Works in a cross-functional team environment and supports Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), FDA regulations, company policies, operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements. Maintains positive communication with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors while performing additional duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Record sterilization information on Lot History Records (LHRs) and Sterilization Load Documents for traceability.
• Perform SAP transactions to identify product status accurately.
• Operate Electronic Beam (E-Beam) sterilization equipment.
• Build pallet configurations according to sterilization documentation.
• Schedule sterilization loads for internal and external contract sterilizers.
• Support sterilization validation activities following standardized procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for manufacturing operations.
• Clearly communicate ideas, problems, and solutions to manufacturing management.
• Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate safety equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
• Maintain accurate traveler and quality documentation to ensure product traceability.
• Support manufacturing performance metrics and divisional quality initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic data collection systems.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or medical device environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP and sterilization processes is a plus.

Dress Code (Interview & Work)

• Clothing must be clean, non-shedding, and free of frayed hems or loose threads.
• No tassels, fringes, glitter, sequins, or loose decorative items.
• Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes are required.
• Heel height must not exceed 2 inches.
• Sandals, clogs, slippers, or open-toe/open-heel shoes are not permitted.
• Socks or stockings must be worn.
• Any open or bleeding wound must be covered with a bandage.
