Seeking a Pharmacist for per diem coverage at a retail pharmacy specializing in compounding, located in Citrus Heights, CA. This role focuses on prescription verifications and assisting patients with their inquiries, supported by a pharmacy team including three pharmacy technicians, so no compounding duties are required. Enjoy a streamlined day dedicated to ensuring accuracy and patient satisfaction.
Schedule and Location:
- Dates: July 8th to July 9th
- Shift Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Location: Citrus Heights, California
Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions accurately using the PioneerRx system
- Provide clear, professional responses to patient questions
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians to facilitate workflow
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist with current credentials to practice in California
- Experience working in retail pharmacy settings preferred
- Proficient with pharmacy management software, especially PioneerRx
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
