The Defense Mission Professional possesses recent first‑hand experience providing innovative implementation, acquisition, and development strategies. In this role, the Defense Mission Professional will serve as the "voice of the client" to define requirements, evaluate new and emerging technologies, and advise the project team to build a tailored spe cia l operations variants of the prototype systems. How You'll Contribute: As a Defense Mission Professional you will: Identify and establish regular communications with DoD Spe cia l Operations personnel who are stakeholders in the resulting system. Research and define the problems to be solved and potential benefi cia l impacts of the solution Create solution architecture views, including operational viewpoint or OV-1, for the target solution Gather regular feedback on necessary features and functionality of the prototype Create artifi cia l intelligence-enabled decision aids to reduce cognitive burden for both Conventional and Spe cia l Operations medics Create artifi cia l intelligence-enabled tools to streamline mass casualty triage efficiency and increase survivability through proper resource allocation Provide direct input to functional and operational use cases and requirements Map the Task List to prototype capabilities Develop and oversee an Experimentation Roadmap to assess future system effectiveness Serve as a direct advisor to Product Manager, Engineering, and Sof tware Develop ment teams Prioritize product develop ment resources in alignment with the Product and Experimentation Roadmap Create and maintain solution intellectual capital including: white papers, proposals, solution briefings, client presentations, and slick sheets. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD).
