Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Managing Partner @ Core Resource Group | PR, Communications, Marketing Business Finance Manager, North America Reports: Chief Commercial Officer Hours: 40 Hours per week, Hybrid, Possibility for remote work Job Summary: The Business Finance Manager will be the right hand to the CCO while working with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Customer Service and HR. They will be responsible for executing and coordinating all finance activities related to management control and will report hierarchically to the U.S. CCO and functionally to the CFO. Ability to understand and monitor business performances and trends as well as in-depth technical knowledge of P&L structure. Expert at profitability analysis, price increases, new product launches, break down costs and suggest changes. Experience in the Fast-Moving Goods sector (Preferably Food & Beverage) in the U.S., Canada and Mexican market through specialty distributors. Experience with KEHE, UNFI, C&S is preferred. Competences and Responsibilities: Support the U.S. team in all financial activities and decisions and act as the primary point of contact between the U.S. and the Italian Financial Headquarters in Milan (Business Control Department and Administration); Analysis of promotion activities results; Support for pricing definition activities; Ad hoc reporting and profitability analysis supporting the management team; Analysis of actual/budget variances and according to corporate KPIs; Preparation of budgets and phasing by clients and product lines; Support sales and marketing team in the preparation of sales forecast; Support the Business Control and Administrative functions in accounting closures and reporting (on a monthly and annual basis); Analysis of business performances including sales, costs, G&A and identify actions to be taken; Advanced use of Excel (pivot tables), Power Point, and Word; (Preferred) Use of Promotion Activities SW Tools and Distributor portals (i.e. KEHE, UNFI); Capability to address concerns and issues quickly and efficiently; Team working and excellent interpersonal skills; Organizational skills; Punctuality and precision; Candid and crystal transparence approach; Italian language a plus; Experience with Retailer, Distributor business; Experience working with an international company a big plus; Wearing many hats and involved in different projects. Required Work Experience: At least 5-8 years of experience as Business Finance Manager in companies with a “Retailers through Distributor” business model; Profiles from industries other than FMCG/F&B and with experience only in large/multinational companies will not be considered; Building a finance team from the ground up; Joining and building a business in its early stages.
