Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for oncology patients on a progressive care/monitoring unit
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies, monitor responses, and manage IV therapy as needed
- Assess patient condition regularly, recognize changes, and escalate concerns per protocol
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, case managers, and other team members to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Document all care accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure safety and infection control standards
- Educate patients and families about treatments, potential side effects, symptom management, and follow-up plans

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in Georgia (GA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- 1 year of RN experience in oncology or a related inpatient setting ( Oncology or Progressive Care Unit preferred)
- Ability to work the listed shift and travel assignment requirements
