Pediatric Dental Assistant

Job Overview Join Happy Kids Dentistry as a Full‑Time Dental Assistant in the Federal Way‑Auburn area of Washington. This onsite position offers a pay range of $18 to $24 per hour and comprehensive benefits, including medical, vision, dental, 401(k), disability, and paid time off. Your role will involve creating a welcoming and fun dental experience for children while supporting the dentist and team. Responsibilities Greet young patients and help them feel comfortable and excited about their visits. Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments. Take digital radiographs and perform prophylaxis. Explain treatment plans to parents and educate children on oral hygiene. Maintain an organized and clean environment, upholding health and safety regulations. Work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Qualifications Preferred or willing to be fully trained as a dental assistant. Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods. Understanding of health and safety regulations. Ability to perform prophylaxis and take digital radiographs. Good computer skills. Excellent communication and people skills. Attention to detail, well‑organized and reliable.
