• Position: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Monday through Friday with a rotating day off
• Call Requirement: 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks
• Charting System: Epic
• Unit Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Services
• Location: Tyler, TX 75701 – a welcoming East Texas community known for its friendly atmosphere, convenient amenities, and easy access to outdoor recreation and local dining

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1.5 years of Operating Room experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in orthopedic, general surgery, neuro, vascular, and urology cases required
• Experience with Trauma Level I patient care required
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care for a diverse surgical patient population
• Assist with a wide range of operative procedures, including orthopedic, neuro, vascular, urology, and general surgery cases
• Maintain a safe, efficient workflow throughout the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to support excellent patient outcomes
• Document accurately in Epic and follow established clinical protocols
• Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
• Deliver compassionate care to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
