Automotive Body Shop Tear Down Tech (Entry Level)

Job Summary
Chevrolet Cadillac of Santa Fe is seeking an automotive Body Shop Tear Down Technician, Entry Level, to join our team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual ready to tackle complex automotive tear down and repair challenges in a fast-paced environment. This position is a full time - hourly skilled labor role.

Compensation & Benefits
Chevrolet Cadillac of Santa Fe offers highly competitive wages of $16 to $19 per hour plus benefits.

Responsibilities
• Follow detailed instructions to complete orders on a timely basis
• Properly identify automotive body parts
• Tear down and disassembly of automotive body parts
• Properly store and handle automotive parts accurately during tear down
• Accurately complete paperwork
• Adhere to safety and health regulations
• Ensure automotive parts are placed into storage in a safe and orderly manner
• Responsible for ensuring the quality of the auto body parts

Requirements
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Previous experience in auto body and/or automotive tear down preferred
• Must be accurate and have excellent attention to detail
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions
• Ability to follow safety regulations and use proper safety equipment
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools to tear down and assemble automotive body parts
• Ability to work long hours on your feet
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
