The Role: The Strategic Architect is Refold’s most senior customer-facing technical leader, equal parts Field CTO, principal solutions architect, and product strategist. You will own our largest, most strategic enterprise accounts end-to-end: from executive-level technical advisory through architecture design, deployment, expansion, and ongoing partnership. This is a founding role. You’ll define what “Strategic Architect” means at Refold, set the technical bar for how we engage with Fortune 500 customers, and serve as one of the primary signals shaping our product roadmap. You will be the trusted technical voice that CTOs, CPOs, and VPs of Engineering pick up the phone for. Team: Founding-level role working directly with the CEO, CTO, and Head of Product. Building: Mission-critical agentic AI integrations at enterprise scale. Customers: CTOs, CPOs, and VPs of Engineering at Fortune 500 enterprises and $50M+ ARR software companies. Key Responsibilities: Own Strategic Accounts End-to-End: Take full accountability for our largest enterprise relationships, from initial technical engagement and architecture design through deployment, adoption, expansion, and renewal. Serve as the executive technical sponsor that customers elevate to. Operate as a Field CTO: Be the technical face of Refold to enterprise CTOs, CPOs, and VPs of Engineering. Build deep, durable trust relationships through executive briefings, technical deep dives, and quarterly architecture reviews. Architect Enterprise-Scale Solutions: Design complex, mission-critical agentic AI integrations spanning Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday, ServiceNow, and modern data ecosystems. Solve the hardest problems for which no playbook exists yet. Drive Measurable Customer Outcomes: Own the business outcomes that matter, time-to-value, throughput, reliability, integration coverage, and account expansion. Translate technical wins into customer ROI narratives. Shape Product Strategy & Roadmap: Be the strongest, most credible customer voice in product discussions. Translate field signals into reference architectures, identified product gaps, and strategic bets. Partner with Product and Engineering to ship what enterprise customers actually need. Build Repeatable Playbooks: Codify learnings from complex enterprise deployments into reference architectures, integration patterns, and engagement frameworks that scale across the broader solutions team. Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years of experience in solutions architecture, field engineering, technical consulting, or platform engineering, including substantial time at enterprise SaaS or integration companies. Demonstrated track record owning Fortune 500 and large enterprise customer relationships end-to-end, with measurable outcomes (time-to-value, expansion, retention). Technical expertise in distributed systems, APIs, enterprise integration architecture, data pipelines, and modern cloud infrastructure. Executive presence and communication: comfortable as the most senior technical voice in the room with CTOs, CPOs, and VPs of Engineering at Fortune 500 companies. Strong product instincts, proven ability to translate customer signals into durable product direction. Startup-grade agency, high ownership, low ego, comfortable operating without a playbook and building one as you go. Nice to Have: Prior Field CTO, Principal Solutions Architect, or Founding Solutions Engineer role at a high-growth enterprise startup. Direct experience integrating with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, or ServiceNow. Familiarity with iPaaS or workflow automation platforms such as Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, or Merge. Hands-on experience building with LLMs and agentic frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models, agent orchestration). Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern data infrastructure. Background of scaling enterprise customer engagements at an early‑to‑growth-stage startup, having seen the journey from Why Join Refold AI?
