At Deep Centered Mental Health, we believe great psychiatric care happens when clinicians have the time, support, and resources to care for patients thoughtfully. We are growing our outpatient psychiatry practice in Houston and are seeking a psychiatrist who values an integrative approach to care and enjoys being part of a highly supportive, collaborative clinical environment.

Deep Centered Mental Health is an outpatient psychiatry and psychotherapy practice built to support thoughtful, high-quality care. Our approach is grounded in compassionate, patient-centered care with an integrative approach— bringing together medication management, psychotherapy, lifestyle medicine, and advanced interventional treatments, including Deep TMS and Spravato®— to help psychiatrists deliver more meaningful, lasting outcomes. We remain grounded in evidence-based care while staying closely engaged with the evolution of psychiatry and advances in neuromodulation. Our model is intentionally designed to support both psychiatrists and patients, with longer appointment times, reduced administrative burden, and seamless collaboration with more than 200 in-house therapists, creating a uniquely collaborative and well supportive clinical environment.

Position Highlights

1. Flexible full-time or part-time employment

Your Role:

1. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and accurately diagnose mental health conditions.
2. Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor treatment response
3. Provide integrative psychiatric care, incorporating psychotherapy, lifestyle approaches, and interventional treatments as clinically appropriate
4. Guide patients and their families through understanding their mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
5. Ensure all patient information is meticulously documented to support ongoing care and regulatory compliance.
6. Collaborate with therapists and other clinicians to coordinate patient care
7. Evaluate and treat patients who may benefit from Deep TMS or Spravato®when appropriate
8. Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
9. Participate in clinical consultation and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

1. MD or DO from an accredited institution
2. Board-certified in Psychiatry (Board eligible residents/fellows)
3. Licensed or the ability to become licensed in Texas with an active DEA license (unencumbered)
4. Commitment to compassionate, patient centered care
5. Clinical Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) exposure is preferred. Training and Certification provided for the right candidate
6. Excellent communicator with a collaborative, ethical, and solution-focused approach
7. Comfortable with EMR systems and videoconferencing tools
8. Passionate about professional growth and continuous learning
