Plastinove is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician / Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and production equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.
The ideal candidate has experience working with industrial machinery, electrical panels, and high-voltage systems and is comfortable diagnosing and resolving issues quickly to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
- Operate Injection Molding Machine
- Troubleshoot electrical issues on production machines and equipment
- Work with control panels, wiring, motors, sensors, and PLC systems
- Support setup and commissioning of new machinery (including 480V systems)
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components
- Ensure all work complies with safety codes and regulations
- Minimize downtime by responding quickly to equipment failures
- Maintain documentation of repairs and maintenance performed
- Collaborate with production and operations teams
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or electrical technician
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting
- Experience working with industrial voltage
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
- Familiarity with PLCs (basic troubleshooting is a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience in manufacturing or injection molding environments
- Electrical certification or license (Florida preferred)
- Experience installing or supporting new production lines
