The Client Service position in Shareholder Services is a prime opportunity for individuals who are passionate about enhancing their client service capabilities, relationship management skills, and understanding of the asset management business. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of client service dynamics within a financial setting and may be involved in business development initiatives. This involvement requires a comprehensive knowledge of the industry, client base, and operational systems to effectively contribute to the organization’s growth and client experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage client relationships by serving as primary point of contact for clients & sales channels. Provide a full range of services: including responding to client inquiries for fund/portfolio information, acting as the point person for any client‑related issues, and executing trades. Collaborate with Sales partners to drive business development initiatives. Engage in critical analysis and problem‑solving activities, both independently and collaboratively with the team, to address complex issues effectively. Monitor and escalate service issues to ensure a high‑quality response and resolution to clients. Participate in special value projects as necessary (i.e. asset development, automation related projects). Maintain close communication with the firm’s trading desks, relaying the status of trading activity. Promote a service‑oriented culture focused on enhancing the client experience and exceeding client expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university required. Demonstrated understanding of client needs and the ability to meet them effectively. Critical thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Strong organizational skills and experience managing projects. Keen attention to detail and high sense of intellectual curiosity, meeting needs in a thorough and efficient manner. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Team oriented and self‑motivated with a positive attitude.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Preferred 3 years of relevant client service experience in a financial services industry environment. FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 preferred (should be obtained within first 60 days on the job).
