About the Position

License: - Must have a Permanent Ohio License or Compact License in hand at time of submission. Certifications: - American Red Cross BLS - ACLS - NIHSS Must-Have: - Must work at least every other holiday. - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, with an acceptable score on both assessments required. Description: This position is for a registered nurse in the surgical ICU. The shift is night from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, working three 12-hour shifts. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Nurses will provide care for critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment. Qualified candidates must have active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills. References must be provided from recent assignments in the specialty. Nurses and CSTs are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements, but all other travelers must be nicotine-free. A negative 10-panel drug screen is required annually. Background checks will be conducted, and any hits will be reviewed. Candidates must complete BCI/FBI prints within a specified timeframe. Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months with a required break before returning. Modules are required and will be available annually.
