Here, you'll practice alongside care teams that work seamlessly across Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, and Critical Care—creating smoother transitions, stronger accountability, and better outcomes for the communities we serve. /n If you're looking for a place where your clinical judgment is valued, your growth is supported, and your work truly makes a difference, we'd love to talk. /n Local Team Collaboration: /n /n - At Trios Southridge Hospital, we are growing our strong and collaborative Emergency Medicine team to 6+ EM physicians and 7.5+ EM Advanced Practice Providers. /n - Level 3 Trauma, acute care hospital with 21-bed ED, 6 fast track beds, and 14 ICU beds. /n - Annual volume of 24,440 with 10.8% admission rate; 1.5% transfers. /n - Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools. /n - Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts. /n /n Qualifications: /n /n - Completion of an Emergency Medicine accredited residency program is preferred with ABEM or AOBEM Board Certification/Board eligibility. /n - Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Board Certification with significant Emergency Medicine experience will be considered. /n - Additional certifications required: PALS, BLS, ACLS, ATLS. /n - Authorized to work in the United States. /n /n Scheduling: /n /n - 9-hour shifts: 5:30 am-2:30 pm, 1:30 pm-10:30 pm, 9 pm-6 am. /n - Full-time is 120 hours per month. /n - Our model consists of 27 hours per day of physician coverage and 22 hours per day of Advanced Practice provider coverage. /n /n Key Responsibilities: /n /n - Respond to floor codes, including neonatal resuscitation. /n - CT in-house, Ultrasound, and MRI on call at night. /n - Bedside Ultrasound performed by all EM physicians. /n - Specialty services include Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Obstetrics, and Podiatry. /n /n Living and Working in Kennewick: /n /n - Known as one of the Tri-Cities, composed of Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland, and located in southeastern Washington. Kennewick is known for its rich agriculture and beautiful wine country—plenty of sunshine with little precipitation, which makes for mild four seasons. /n - Beautiful nature includes three major rivers and mountain ranges nearby, with plenty of outdoor recreation.
