The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to lead our cleanroom operations. In this role, you will act as the guardian of sterility assurance, overseeing IV Admixture workflows and ensuring our facility remains inspection-ready for the The Joint Commission ( TJC ) and state boards. You will drive safety and precision in our Hi-Tech work environment, bridging the gap between regulatory compliance and exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities (The "Must-Haves")

• USP 797 & 800 Mastery: We require a pharmacist who is up-to-date on recent revisions regarding sterile preparations and Hazardous Drugs (HDs) handling to minimize contamination risks.
• Audit Readiness: Lead preparation for The Joint Commission ( TJC ) surveys and audits. Your ability to maintain continuous compliance signals the leadership potential we value.
• 503A / 503B Versatility: Whether in patient-specific ( 503A ) or bulk manufacturing ( 503B ) workflows, you will apply cGMP ( Current Good Manufacturing Practice ) principles to ensure product quality.
  Technical Core Competencies
• Aseptic Technique Leadership: Maintain and enforce a 100% pass rate on Media Fill and Gloved Fingertip Sampling for all pharmacy staff.
• Complex Clinical Compounding: Manage IV Admixture and Total Parenteral Nutrition ( TPN ) workflows. This includes performing high-level calculations and clinical management to ensure compatibility and patient safety.
• Quality Assurance & Monitoring: Own the Environmental Monitoring program. You will track viable/non-viable particles and pressure differentials to ensure the Cleanroom and ISO Class 7 buffer areas remain within specifications.
• Engineering Controls: Operate and troubleshoot Laminar Airflow workbenches and Biological Safety Cabinets ( BSC ). You will ensure all Primary Engineering Controls ( PECs ) are functioning correctly to protect staff and products.

Preferred Certification: BCSCP ( Board Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacist ). Possessing this credential is highly valued and sets top candidates apart.

Experience: Minimum 2 years in a sterile compounding setting with a strong focus on Quality Assurance.
